Coleman Custom Homes was founded in 2017 by Alex Coleman on a commitment to craftsmanship and a refusal to build the ordinary, drawing on decades of residential mountain-building experience. That founding standard still governs the work.
Today, under Managing Partner Tim Beecher, the firm pairs the personalized service of a boutique builder with the discipline of a much larger one — a single accountable point of contact overseeing architecture, interiors, landscape, and contract administration, so the vision stays executable and the experience stays clear. Our largest residence delivered to date is a $20M home.
Tim Beecher started building at fourteen in Telluride and ran his own construction company by nineteen. He left to study electrical engineering and spent years leading infrastructure and engineering programs — teams of fifty and more, budgets in the tens of millions.
That is the origin of everything Coleman does beneath the surface. Where most builders see a finish, he sees the systems that hold it up — and the reason a home lasts a hundred years instead of thirty. He joined as Managing Partner in 2023.
